
Exterior:
1. Power Washing
•Bleach mixture used to remove dirt and mildew at mild mixture so as not to harm landscaping
•Delicate areas are hand-washed
•House is given time to dry
•Driveways and decks are pressure cleaned upon request
2. Priming and Scraping
•Exterior doors are sanded and cleaned
•All loose paint is removed, all bare areas are primed
•Areas around doors and windows are caulked
•Wood and stucco repairs available upon request or when specified in the contract.
3. Painting
•Premium paints are chosen by Homeowner
•Full finish coat is applied to proper coverage and finish.
•All non-painted surfaces are covered to protect against splatter and drips.
•Paint is applied with a brush, roller, or sprayer depending .on the surface.
•Second coat is available upon request or when specified in contract.
•Lentils (small strips of steel above windows) are primed and painted.
4. Clean-Up
•Performed daily and upon completion of the job.
•All paint debris is removed.
•Plant beds are protected.
•Touch-up paint is labeled and left with the customer.
•Outdoor fixtures and furniture are put back in place.
5. Inspection
•Before the crew packs up their equipment, a "wet walk-around" is done to ensure all contracted areas are painted properly
Prior to final payment a one on one walk through with Homeowner and Owner of Spring Painting will take place
Interior:
1. Setup
•Rooms and areas to be painted are scheduled with the customer.
•Large furniture is moved into the center of the room.
•Furniture is covered with plastic.
•Carpets are covered with drop cloths.
•Wood and tile are covered with construction paper.
2. Prep
•Holes in walls are filled and settling cracks repaired
•Blinds and curtains are removed
•Stains, such as water marks, are sealed.
•Wood work and cabinets are sanded, dusted, wiped with de-glosser, caulked and spackled as needed.
3. Painting
•Premium paints are chosen by Homeowner
•Repaired areas are primed.
•Paint is applied with a brush, roller or sprayer depending on situation.
•Ceiling and walls are painted to proper coverage and finish
•Brush work between trim, walls and ceiling is clean, straight and precise
4. Clean-Up
•Furniture is moved back to original positions.
•Blinds and curtains are replaced
•Floors and carpets are cleaned and swept.
•All painting debris is removed.
•Touch-up paint is labeled and left with the customer.
5. Inspection
•Before the crew packs up their equipment, a "wet walk-around" is done to ensure all contracted areas are painted properly
Prior to final payment a one on one walk through with Homeowner and Owner of Spring Painting will take place.
